About me
Background
I am the co-founder and CEO of BCILITY, a Microsoft Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partner specialising in Business Central. Most of what I know came out of years of work on NAV (Navision) before it, and the two together are still the lens I look at almost every problem through.
I started on Business Central in the early days, back when even the debugger was not working properly. Having to understand the platform rather than trust the tooling is what eventually made me good at it.
Since then we have helped partners and customers move from NAV to Business Central, and I have spent a lot of that time on the unglamorous end of it: queries that fall over at scale, telemetry that tells you where, and code that costs more than it should. That is the material this blog is made of.
